How would it feel to rev up your creative juices, shake up the journey and begin co-creating this time of your life?

Are you in mid-life? Feeling a little flat, stuck or off balance? Do you have a hard time seeing possibilities? Maybe you’re feeling an urge to exercise your creativity. Or, perhaps, you just need to find you 2.0.

Nothing is terrible.  It’s just that one day you looked around and starting humming “is that all there is”.

What I’m here to tell you is that there is more. That you are in good company and it is okay to step onto a new path and explore what is alive and true in you. That it’s okay to live differently, think new thoughts and move closer to your true self.

I was there.  Fortunately, I stumbled onto a new path. It was hazy and somehow I was able to stay the course. Along the way I met up with some fellow travelers who lit up my journey and fed my fire.

Now I want to light up your journey and feed your fire.

What if you could:

  • Take some control back and be the one making the plans and making it happen?
  • Have others support you and cheer you on?
  • Be a support and cheerleader for others?
  • Understand what will work for you when life throws you a curve?
  • Acquire the tools to keep expanding your creativity, new habits to help apply the tools and ways to expand your thinking.

Yes, all that and more.

Take this opportunity to Pause and pull together the diverse pieces of yourself in a different way for a fresh, energized new start.

What’s a Pause? A Pause is a productive time without the busyness. It is active, dynamic and energizing. It’s also an incubation period, a time for exploration, thinking, listening, discernment, evaluating, weighing, assaying the preciousness of an idea. It’s the venturing out in a small step, getting your footing, learning to trust the creative process that is your inner wisdom speaking.

When you apply the principles of creativity to every facet of your life you receive deep access to the unique magic that is your creative essence. Access to your creative spirit gives you access to flow – the ability to be unstuck.  Being unstuck, being in the creative flow allows ideas to flow easier.  Easier flow is expansive.  Expansive ideas give way to unlimited possibilities.

Without this…well, you’ll remain stuck. You’ll still be wondering if this is all there is and unable to feel the anticipation of potential.

The journey…

Each time we meet during our 6 week journey together I will offer creative tools, muses, guided relaxation exercises and short, fun activities. Although we leave room for creative detours, the itinerary will be as follows:

Week One:  Connection , Commitment and Kaizen

Connect with your fellow travelers and with your essence. Set intentions for your journey. Through guided meditation and short writing exercises you will begin to envision how your next stage of life might look, remember what’s important to you and think about the legacy you want to leave. (And, I don’t mean money!) I will introduce the concept and power of Kaizen. We’ll also talk about hijackers (you probably know who they are!) Perhaps a bodyguard is in order?

Week Two:  Paying attention and thinking differently.

Meet the muses Aha-Phrodite and Albert. They are fun ways to bring awareness and thinking differently into your journey. We’ll explore what happens when you begin paying attention – without your inner critic – and exercise ways to get out of our own way and think a little differently. Only then can you begin to reframe and reimagine what your second half of life could be.

Week Three:  Having fun and falling in love with YOU.

While play is often associated with creating, have you ever considered the role of self-love and self-care? We’ll recover our sense of silly and figure out ways to nurture your physical and spiritual self.  These two concepts are often ignored in our busy lives, but can make an enormous difference as you move forward in your journey.

Week Four:  Add some audacity to your life as you approach it as a creative process

What makes you feel sassy? Real? Can you embrace your imperfections and open up to creative detours? Don’t deprive the world of your beautiful self.

Week Five:  Our shadow side and letting go with gratitude.

Without light and dark we have no dimension. Our dark side has gifts to offer. We will also look at the Pause a little closer. How can you relax into it with joy and gratitude?

Week Six:  Celebrating the journey and staying in Kaizen.

A final discussion of Kaizen and how it can affect every part of your life. And let’s celebrate the work you’ve done on this leg of the journey. How will you continue on your own?
